Account Manager - Permanent - UK
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Account Manager to join us in a permanent, full-time role. This role will oversee account onboarding, service desk operations, and post-sales success for our AI and software services. You’ll work closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure that our customers receive a seamless and responsive experience.
Role Overview
As Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, coordinating onboarding, resolving service desk queries, and supporting the client relationship through post-sale stages. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, support, and technical teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding for new accounts, guiding them through setup and early usage.
- Coordinate support efforts via the service desk, triaging and escalating issues as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients through consistent and clear communication.
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure proactive engagement with accounts.
- Identify upsell and growth opportunities and relay feedback to internal teams.
- Maintain clear documentation of interactions, needs, and progress.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in account management, customer success, or client onboarding roles.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with service desk platforms and support workflows.
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable with light technical discussions or relaying technical queries to internal teams.
- Fluent in English and located in the UK.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working in SaaS, AI, or technology services environments.
- Background in post-sales account growth, support ticketing systems, or client training.
- Prior experience working remotely with distributed teams.
